How do I become a builder on SIH?

Register an account, then submit a membership application from the onboarding page. A founder reviews it and either accepts or rejects it — this is a deliberate, discretionary judgment, never an automatic approval. Once accepted, you choose your domain(s) and can start being assigned to project work.

Is there a fee to join as a builder?

No. Applying and joining as a builder is free. What you earn on delivered work is tracked in your own private finance ledger.

How does reputation work?

Reputation is qualitative only — Strong, Stable, or Developing per dimension — never a numeric score, never a leaderboard, never something you can game. Indicators come from a Prime Lead or Founder review, and you can appeal a review to an independent founder without the original review ever being altered.

Can I work in more than one domain?

Yes. Domains — Frontend, Backend, Flutter, UI/UX, Graphic Design, Video Editing, AI Engineering, Marketing, Business Development, Operations, Content Writing — are additive. You can hold associations across several at once.

What does "supervised" vs. "independent" mean?

Every domain association starts supervised — your contributions are reviewed by a Prime Lead or Founder. Consistent, well-reviewed work moves that association to qualified independent, reflected automatically from your review history, never self-declared.

How does an organization start working with SIH?

Submit a project inquiry from the website — no account required. A Team Elite member reviews it, and if it fits, sets your organization up as a client and reaches out with next steps. Nothing beyond the inquiry itself exists until a founder-side reviewer engages.

Is my identity or earnings visible to other members?

No. Personal identity and earnings are private by default. Nothing is exposed beyond what you explicitly choose to share — for example, opting your portfolio into being link-shared or member-visible.

What happens if there is a dispute over work or a rejected contribution?

Disputes go through a due-process flow: a stated reason is required for any consequential decision, there is a response window before it takes effect, and an independent, non-conflicted reviewer decides whenever the original reviewer has a relationship to the outcome.

Does SIH use AI in its own delivery process?

AI Engineering is one of the platform’s domains — a discipline builders work in on client projects, reviewed through the same pipeline as every other domain. It is not used to automate or replace the review/governance process itself.

What is Rising Nation, exactly?

Rising Nation is the longer-term ecosystem SIH is the first part of — the infrastructure meant to carry a builder’s track record from student projects toward founding real companies. SIH is where that track record starts.

Can I request that my personal data be deleted?

Yes. SIH supports a DPDP-aligned erasure request — a founder must approve it, after which your personal identity data is removed while the platform retains only what is legally or structurally necessary (e.g. anonymized historical records).

Who reviews my membership application or a project decision?

A founder — a small, explicitly configured group of accountable decision-makers, not a rotating or anonymous committee. Every decision they make that affects you requires a recorded reason.
